Visiting the Vets (Feb 2009)
Visiting Purton Vets.
As part of our Community Challenge, we visited Purton Vetinary Hospital, finding out how to care for our pets and what goes on behind the scenes. The Practice manager ~ Amber and Vetinary nurse, Rachel - showed us the dog and cat wards, the X-Ray machine and the operating theatre where all the animal operations take place. The Cubs were also able to look at an animal flea through a microscope - very interesting!
We would like to thank them very much for the time they gave to us and for a very informative visit.
